We have an opening for a Human Resources Manager. This position will be located in Burbank, CA.Job Summary:the Human Resources Manager will partner with managers and employees to provide generalist HR support and services to include focus on daily management of one of our creative facilities that specializes in the conversion of 2D imagery into stereoscopic 3D imagery. They will be responsible for managing and administering core HR programs which will include employee relations, HRIS reporting, payroll, and performance management.Job Responsibilities: ? Work with HR EVP and Director of HR to ensure that HR strategy and policies are implemented effectively and uniformly throughout the facility. ? Partner with HR Management Team to design, develop and communicate HR practices and programs, while also being responsible for rollout to employee population within the facility. ? Partner with facility leadership and executives to implement HR programs and develop strategies to best support their business requirements ? including staffing, organization development and succession planning practices. ? Responsible for assessment, process improvement and day-to-day operation of the HR functions. ? Perform HR administrative activities which will include new hire paperwork, LOA management, employment status changes, employee relations issues and employment terminations. ? Work with HR EVP and Director of HR to ensure that company meets all Federal and State regulations in the day to day HR practices. ? Provide HR expertise in resolution of employee concerns/issues and work closely with legal to conduct, document and resolve employee investigations. ? Work closely with managers to prepare employee performance documents to include performance reviews, performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions and compensation reviews.Job Requirements: ? BA/BS degree required. ? Minimum of 5 years experience in a generalist HR role, with increasing levels of responsibility. ? Minimum 2 years of HR Management experience. ? Prior HR experience with an entertainment and/or creative services business is a must. ? Prior experience with Project Management, HR systems and HR reporting required. ? Prior experience must include employee relations and performance management. ? Prior experience providing support to multiple levels of management within a company. ? Strong verbal and written communication skills. ? Strong relationship management skills to influence key stakeholders and clients. ? Prior experience in entertainment, post-production or media environment preferred. ? Knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.
