As The Page Turns ? Times-Virginian: Arts And Entertainment ...

The summer sun is shining bright upon the Appomattox County Library System! We have lots of extra events planned for June and July! Patrons and visitors alike are finding many free resources at both branches including Internet, wireless, downloadable e-books, magazines, movies and more. For a minimal fee the libraries offer printing services, and Jamerson Library has faxing and lamination services. We ask patrons upon entering either library that they silence their cell phones.

Both libraries carry a full selection of magazines, books, movies, and place small orders often so that we may provide a steady supply of new reading and viewing materials. We would like to highlight the following new and donated items; Hugo (DVD), John Carptener?s Vampires (DVD), Curious George: Flies a Kite & other Adventures (DVD) the Bucket List (DVD), Prime (DVD), Punch Drunk love (DVD), Interview With the Vampire (DVD), the Adventures of Tintin (DVD), 11th Hour ? James Patterson, Afraid to Die ? Lisa Jackson, Dead Level ? Sarah Graves, Deadlocked ? Charlaine Harris, and Guy Noir and the Straight Skinny ? Garrison Keillor (Large Print).
