At some point last week I sent a message to my co-workers proclaiming "I hate this hotel's layout. So much." We were in Las Vegas, attending the Consumer Electronics Show, and I was lost. So lost.
Eventually I managed to get from Point A to Point B, convince a guy to flush his iPhone down a toilet, and track down a cup of coffee or three. How I did those things ? and where I went?? is still a bit of a mystery. Oh, if only there were an app that could help me retrace my steps.
Wait, what am I saying? Of course there's an app that could do just that?? I just didn't happen to use it.
Zombie Processus
The app's called "Last Night...?" and it can be downloaded through the Apple App Store for two bucks.
Once you've downloaded "Last Night...?" it will quietly work in the background and regularly record your location and speed.?Later on, you can open the app, check your location, get information about where you were and analyze how fast you traveled.
Such data could be handy if you're a sleep-deprived tech writer, an intoxicated party animal, an avid jogger, or anyone else who might wish to retrace his or her steps. The only catch is that you have to make sure to download and install the app before starting to zig-zag around a city.
